Pope mourns victims of Italian bus accident

Pope Francis has sent a message of sympathy to the people of Campania, Italy, where 38 people died in a bus accident.

In a message of Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe of Naples, the Pope promised “fervent prayers for the souls of the deceased, and conveys his deepest condolences to their families.” He also promised prayers for the recovery of those injured in the accident, in which a bus toppled from a viaduct.
