Pope is an early riser, takes regular siestas

Pope Francis typically rises at 4:45 each morning, allowing for a long session of private prayer before he celebrates morning Mass.
Andrea Tornielli of La Stampa provides an account of the Pope's daily schedule-- which includes a regular siesta-- and concentrates particularly on the arresting imagery the Pontiff uses in his homilies at daily Mass.
