Grand-jury probe raises new risks for Cardinal Mahony

Catholic World News - February 02, 2009

A spokesman for the Los Angeles archdiocese insists that the cardinal has no reason to fear the probe of his handling of sex-abuse cases, saying: "We have been unable to even hypothesize a crime that might have been committed in the handling of these problems."
