Pope Francis wants statue of himself removed from Buenos Aires cathedral

July 10, 2013

The statue, honoring the Pope in the city where he had been archbishop, was installed at the cathedral last week. Upon learning about it, Pope Francis called his old cathedral to ask that it be "removed immediately."
