Kenyan prelate raps Obama's support for gay rights in Africa

A Kenyan cardinal has criticized US President Barack Obama for his promotion of gay rights in Africa.

Cardinal John Njue of Nairobi said that Africans should “act according to our own traditions and our faiths.” Dismissing the public statements made by Obama during an African tour, the Kenyan cardinals observed that leaders “who have already ruined their society” should not be guides to African nations.
