Pope Francis’ 1st encyclical to be released July 5

The Holy See Press Office has announced that Pope Francis’s first encyclical, Lumen Fidei [Light of Faith], will be released on July 5.
Cardinal Marc Ouellet, the prefect of the Congregation for Bishops, will join Archbishop Gerhard Ludwig Müller, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, and Archbishop Rino Fisichella, president of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization, at the press conference at which the encyclical is presented.
