New assaults on Christians in India's Orissa state

Militant Hindus have mounted a violent offensive against Christians in the eastern state of Orissa in India, claiming that Christian missionaries have forced Hindus to forsake their faith.
Church leaders in Orissa-- a region that has a history of anti-Christian violence-- report several incidents in which Hindus have been attacked or threatened, and warned that they will face further attacks if they do not leave the area.
