Protester climbs down from dome of St. Peter's

Catholic World News - May 23, 2013

The Italian man who climbed out onto the dome of St. Peter’s basilica on Monday to dramatize a political protest climbed down Wednesday night.

Marcello Di Finizio, who was protesting European Union policies—saying that they would force the closing of the restaurant he operates in Trieste—was convinced by Vatican police to climb down after 2 days on the dome.
