Catholic World News - May 20, 2013
The Vatican has introduced a ‘app’ for smartphones, providing a free news feed.
The new app, called Missio, provides news headlines from Fides, the news service sponsored by the Congregation for Evangelization, and from the Vatican news site: News.va. Officially launched by Pope Francis on May 17, the service is available for iPhone and Android platforms, in English, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Chinese, and Arabic.
