Papal prayers for earthquake victims in Iran, Pakistan

Pope Francis has sent a message of condolence to the people of Iran and Pakistan who are suffering after a violent earthquake on the border between the two countries.
"I lift my prayers to God for the victims and for all those in pain and I wish to express my closeness to the Iranian and Pakistani peoples," the Pope said as he concluded his regular public audience on Wednesday, April 17.
