Papal plea for peace in Central African Republic
CWN - March 27, 2013
At the conclusion of his Wednesday public audience on March 27, Pope Francis made an appeal for peace in the Central African Republic.
“I call for an immediate halt to the violence and looting, and that a political solution to the crisis may be reached as soon as possible,” the Pope said. He offered his prayerful sympathy to the victims of the country’s civil war.
