Syrian refugees in Jordan now number 500,000

The number of refugees from Syria entering Jordan has reached 500,000, the head of Caritas Jordan reports. The agency says that between 1,000 and 2,000 Syrian refugees continue to cross the border into Jordan every day, seeking a haven from their nation’s civil war.
