Pope invites fellow Argentines to impromptu party
Catholic World News - March 21, 2013
About 50 natives of Argentina met with Pope Francis in an unplanned gathering on Wednesday afternoon at the Pontiff’s temporary residence in the Domus Sanctae Marthae.
The Pope issued invitations on a “spur-of-the-moment” impulse, the Vatican press office disclosed. Those in attendance included bishops, priests, and religious as well as lay people. The Pope provided light refreshments; the guests—including families with young children—provided song and dance.
