Gay sauna in Rome shares apartment building with Vatican officials

CWN - March 12, 2013

Media outlets in Rome have aired a report that the Vatican has purchased a block of apartments in a building that also houses Rome’s largest gay sauna.

Vatican has purchased 20 apartments in the same building that is home to Europa Multiclub, a nightspot catering to homosexuals. Although the Vatican’s investment in the building is not recent—it was made in 2008—reporters in Rome chose the eve of the papal conclave to release the story, noting that Cardinal Ivan Dias, the prefect of the Congregation for Evangelization, lives in the building.

Nothing new here except that it is closer to the Vatican. I remember that leftist activist Paul Shanley and his pal Fr White ran a sodomotel in California when Card.Law was in Boston. Law's agent, John Brendan McCormack, later the bishop of Manchester, NH, visited Shanely at Law's behest and failed to even notice what was going on there. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose....
