Guilty plea in Florida parish theft case

A Florida priest accused of embezzling $370,000 in parish funds between 2001 and 2006 has pled guilty. When sentenced in March, Father John Skehan, 81, may receive up to 31 years in prison. He and another priest, who maintains his innocence, may have embezzled up to $8.5M over the decades, according to a diocesan audit.
