Czech cardinal sees Catholic exodus, not Vatileaks, as top priority
CWN - March 06, 2013
The top priority for the Church today is “people leaving the faith,” according to Cardinal Dominik Duka of Prague.
“I don’t think ‘Vatileaks’ is at the top of the list,” the Czech cardinal told the Italian daily Il Messaggero. He said that he expected the cardinals to be given some information this week about the investigation conducted by three senior cardinals into the leaks of confidential papal documents. But he said that the issue of leaks was far less important than the exodus of Catholics from the Church.
