2nd court victory for Illinois company against contraceptive-coverage mandates

A week after a federal court halted the enforcement of the HHS mandate against an Illinois company, a state court halted the enforcement of the state’s own mandate requiring employers to provide contraceptive coverage.
Triune Health Group, a for-profit corporation owned by a Catholic couple, assists injured workers who are reentering the workforce. DuPage County Circuit Court Judge Terence Sheen ruled that the state’s laws protecting religious freedom take precedence over the state’s contraceptive mandate.
