Netanyahu claims Israel's Christian population is growing
CWN - December 26, 2012
Israel’s Christian communities are “strong, growing, and wholly integrated into the life of the country,” claimed the country’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a Christmas message.
Netanyahu welcomed the Christian pilgrims who have flocked to Jerusalem and Bethlehem for Christmas, and encouraged other Christians to visit the country’s shrines.
Netanyahu’s claims are disputed by many local Christians. The Christian population of the Holy Land has fallen dramatically in recent years.
