Columnist argues US drone warfare is immoral

CWN - December 21, 2012

Writing in England’s Catholic Herald, American Catholic columnist Mark Shea argues that the drone strikes carried out by the US military cannot be justified. Not only do the drones claim too many civilian victims as “collateral damage,” Shea contends, but in some cases the killing of civilians is deliberate.

Thanks to Mark Shea for doing the bishops' job of "teaching like Jesus did" and guiding the laity on the moral principles involved in government policy. The USCCB is so busy with its campaigns to lobby Congress on social justice (progressive politics) issues it does not have the time to teach the faithful. By the way, the Obama administration drone program is also unconstitutional because it does not comply with the due process nor declaration of war provisions of the Constitution.
