Catholic World News - December 18, 2012
A Louisiana man was arrested on December 16 after he reportedly destroyed statues in two neighboring Catholic parishes, smashing them with a sledgehammer.
The man, who is also accused of damaging two Protestant churches, faces a series of criminal charges. A police spokesman said that the suspect believed that “God ordered him to destroy the statues.”
