Beloved Jasna Gora icon undamaged by attack

Poland’s most beloved Marian image, the “Black Madonna” of Jasna Gora, was undamaged by an attack on December 9.
A man threw cans of paint at the famous image. But the icon, which is shielded by shatterproof glass, was not harmed.
The attacker was detained by security guards and is now under arrest.
