Australia: sex-abuse victim sentenced for 'revenge' burglaries at Catholic churches
Catholic World News - November 28, 2012
An Australian man has been sentenced to a 4-year prison sentence for a series of burglaries that targeted Catholic churches.
The man—who was not identified in press accounts—said that his crime spree was prompted by rage against the Church. He saw the thefts as a form of revenge for the sexual abuse that he suffered as a child, he said.
