Have you noticed,very few Down's Syndrome children seen in in public as opposed to years ago? I believe abortion is the reason.

Revive? 14 years ago a blood test on my pregnant wife tested positive for Down's Syndrome. We were told the test was 50% false positive and a amniosentisis(?) test was suggested that had a 1% chance of causing a miscarriage. "Why would we take that risk?" I asked. To be positive in case you wish to terminate the pregnancy." Needless to say we did not do the second test and my 13 year old son's problem is not using his intelligence in the honor classes he is in.

The 90% or so who choose to abort their Down Syndrome babies are the losers here. They can't possibly realize the joy and love that abides in a household with a Down Syndrome resident. I"ve watched our 18-year-old daughter with Down Syndrome wrap the world around her little finger...she has an uncanny sixth sense: LOVE. It works on everyone from strangers to janitors to bishops. It's time the world quit playing God! Ellen Lee
