New apostolic nuncio wins admiration in Ireland

Although Ireland's relations with the Holy See have been severely tied in recent months, the new apostolic nuncio in Dublin has been well received by the country's political leaders, notes Michael Kelly of the Irish Catholic.
Archbishop Charles Brown, who has been "mending fences" in a series of quiet meetings with Irish leaders, earned a standing ovation when he made an appearance before the country's parliament, the Dáil.
