Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not religious, Indonesian president says

The president of Indonesia has said that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is essentially political, not religious. His statement is significant because Indonesia has the world's largest Muslim population. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said that "religion and politics should not be mixed" in the world's response to the conflict in the Holy Land.
