Irish Catholic primate welcomes selection of new Anglican leader

Cardinal Sean Brady of Armagh, the Primate of All Ireland, has issued a statement welcoming the election of Richard Clarke as the new leaders of the (Anglican ) Church of Ireland.
Cardinal Brady said that he was “delighted” to hear of the selection, and looked forward to working closely with the Anglican prelate—whom he described as “a person of great wisdom, gentleness and kindness.”
