New York Times: photo essay on ‘women as priests’

CWN - October 02, 2012

The New York Times has published a photo essay on “women as priests.”

“I photographed priests and bishops of the Roman Catholic Womenpriests movement to alter my own deep-seated perception of priests as male,” writes journalist Judith Levitt. “I tried to capture their devotion and conviction and pay tribute to their efforts to reform the church.”

“I grew up as a Catholic, although I don’t practice now,” she added.

Perhaps the Times would like to publish my paint by numbers portrayal of dogs playing poker? Same genera.

These photographs remind me of the photograph in the NY Post featuring a male who gave birth to a child. In small letters it said that the "male" was actually a female who had a sex change operation. Can't change God's Will regardless of how hard you try

I feasted my eyes on the photo essay, and came away much reassured that none of those women are likely to become bishop. They are all too close to the mandatory retirement age of 75.
