Pontifical council to pay tribute to Dante

The Pontifical Council for Culture has announced that it will host an evening event dedicated to the poet Dante as part of the Year of Faith and Synod of Bishops.
The event, which includes comments by Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi and a reading of a canto from Dante’s Paradiso, will take place on October 12, the day after the Year of Faith begins.
