Vatican diplomacy is quiet but constant, says Cardinal Bertone

Vatican diplomacy works “discreetly but constantly,” in “a ceaseless quest for just and human ways,” Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone said in a September 25 address.
The Vatican Secretary of State—who was in Barcelona to receive an award for communications—said that Vatican diplomats work primarily for peace in the world, but also to promote “the good of every person which is only obtained by safeguarding the common good.”
