Responding to a requesting from Muslim students, a Catholic high school in London, Ontario, has converted an office into a Muslim prayer room.
Muslims are “members of our school community,” said Ana Paula Fernandes, principal of Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School, which has 1,400 students. “We want to ensure that all our students feel welcome, that they feel that they belong.”

PC run amok. Next, Protestants will want their own chapel, Buddhists and Hindus their own shrines, Wiccans their own grove circle, and so on. This is a Catholic School, and non-Catholics who CHOOSE to go there should be prepared to live with the fact that religious worship and education is going to be Catholic. Catholic Schools should not have to make special provisions for other religions, any more than other religious schools should have to make special provisions for Catholic students.
