Cardinal Pell lauds Anglican prelate's defense of marriage
CWN - September 17, 2012
Cardinal George Pell of Sydney, Australia, has praised his Anglican counterpart, Archbishop Peter Jensen, for his defense of traditional marriage.
As Australian lawmakers consider measures that would provide legal recognition for same-sex unions, Cardinal Pell said that the Anglican archbishop “has been in top form lately with his cogent defence of the importance of marriage and his refusal to be bowed, despite some uncivilised displays of intolerance, on the health risks from promiscuity--homosexual or heterosexual.”
