Scottish archbishop: Gospel message still excites

At his installation as head of the Glasgow archdiocese, Archbishop Philip Tartaglia said that “the proposal the Church makes to the world today is not an idea, or a plan or a policy, but a Person.”

That proposal “remains exciting and endlessly relevant,” the new Scottish archbishop said. He encouraged the faithful to renew their commitment to the task of evangelization, to spread the Gospel to their neighbors.
