Pope sends condolences on death of Ethiopian Orthodox prelate

Pope Benedict XVI has sent a message of condolence to the Ethiopian Orthodox Church on the death of Patriarch Abuna Paulos.
The Ethiopian Orthodox leader died on August 15 at the age of 76 after a long illness. The Pope paid homage to his “firm commitment to promoting greater unity through dialogue and cooperation.”
