Former judge to head Australian sex-abuse probe

A retired Supreme Court judge has been selected by Australia’s parliament to lead an investigation into the handling of sex-abuse complaints by Catholic Church officials.
Judge Frank Vincent will be joined on the investigating team by Mal Hyde, a former police commissioner for South Australia.
