India: 400,000 displaced by Assam conflict

The conflict between indigenous Christians and Muslim settlers in the eastern Indian state of Assam has now displaced 400,000 people, according to Catholic Relief Services.
In addition to working for peace, Bishop Thomas Pulloppillil of Bongaigaon has organized medical relief teams to assist those who now live in government camps.
