Respect rights of refugees, Pontiff urges
CWN - June 18, 2012
At the conclusion of his regular midday public audience on Sunday, June 17, Pope Benedict XVI called attention to the UN’s observance of World Refugee Day on June 20, and underlined “the Holy See’s prayers and constant solicitude” for all those who are driven from their homes by violence.
The Pope voiced his hope that the rights of refugees would be respected and “that they may soon be able to be reunited with their loved ones.”
