Bosnia-Herzegovina: prelate laments ‘well-formulated strategy’ to eliminate Catholic presence
CWN - June 05, 2012
The president of the bishops’ conference of Bosnia-Herzegovina has told Aid to the Church in Need that there is a “well-formulated strategy” to eliminate the Catholic presence in the Balkan nation and that some politicians are saying that Catholics have “no business being in Bosnia.”
The Catholic population of the largely Muslim and Eastern Orthodox nation has declined by 400,000 since the Bosnian War (1992-95).
