Irish archbishop embarrassed by expensive home renovations

Archbishop Diarmuid Martin of Dublin is under fire for spending €500,000 (about $715,000) on renovations to his residence. Stories about the extensive work at the archbishop's palace emerged shortly after Martin had told a television interviewer: "We would all be happier if we were a little bit more austere in our lifestyle."
