Orissa: conversion of Hindu persecutor of Christians
Catholic World News - May 15, 2012
Niladri Kanhar, a Hindu village leader involved in the killing of Christians in the eastern Indian state of Orissa, converted to Christianity after an evangelical pastor prayed for the healing of his daughter.
Kanhar was beaten after his conversion and, together with Pabitra Kata, the evangelical pastor, has been jailed on accusations of proselytism.
