Italian missionary slain in Brazil
CWN - April 30, 2012
An Italian missionary priest was found dead at his home in Bahia, Brazil on Monday, April 30.
Father Luigi Plebani, who had worked in Brazil since 1980, died of gunshot wounds, police said. Although he was founded hanged, police believe that his killers were making a bid to make his death appear to be a suicide.
Police theorize that the killing was the work of burglars.
