Laos: chapel confiscated, Catholics pray outside
CWN - April 10, 2012
Communist officials in Savannakhet province in western Laos have confiscated a Catholic chapel in Kengweng and prevented priests from ministering there.
“Around 200 Lao Catholics recited the rosary, sang hymns, and read the Gospel to celebrate Easter in front of Kengweng chapel, while four armed soldiers watched from the chapel’s gate,” said Sister Josephine Seusy.
