Following lawsuit, university recognizes Christian pro-life group

After a lawsuit was filed in federal court, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro changed course and granted official recognition to Make Up Your Own Mind, a Christian pro-life organization affiliated with a crisis pregnancy center.
The university had previously denied recognition to Make Up Your Own Mind because the organization wished to restrict its membership to Christians. The university permits religious organizations to restrict membership but maintained that Make Up Your Own Mind was not a religious organization because it was not affiliated with a church.
