Boko Haram threatens kidnapping campaign against Christian women

March 09, 2012

The terrorist group that has threatened to eradicate Christianity in northern Nigeria has announced that it will kidnap Christian women to further its aims.

“We are going to put into action new efforts to strike fear into the Christians of the power of Islam by kidnapping their women,” said a spokesman for Boko Haram.

“We will demand [them] as ransom that the families leave our Islamic areas,” the spokesman continued. “We will create so much effort to end the Christian presence in our push to have a proper Islamic state that the Christians won’t be able to stay.”

I don't know how people can compare Christanity and Islam. Christianity has no terrorist branches. We have no groups or sub groups that kidnap, torture or rape and cut off limbs. Islam is fundamentally different in theology and morals. These Islamic terrorist groups are often praised by other imans but almost never condemned for their acts of barbarism. They are seen as doing "allahs" bidding.
