English ordinariate members visit Rome on thanksgiving pilgrimage
CWN - February 27, 2012
About 100 former Anglicans visited Rome, on a pilgrimage of thanksgiving for the establishment of the new Ordinate of Our Lady of Walsingham.
The English ordinariate was set up last January, under the terms of Anglicanorum Coetibus, and now includes over 1,000 people. The English pilgrims spent a week in Rome, meeting briefly with Pope Benedict XVI after his regular public audience on Wednesday.
