Manila archdiocese hopes to feed 40,000 children as Lenten project

Archbishop Luis Tagle of Manila has asked the faithful to the archdiocese to raise nearly $1 million during Lent in a drive to feed 40,000 needy children.
In his Lenten message, the archbishop asked for almsgiving during Lent, saying that the funds raised would be used to supply the needs of malnourished children all across the Philippines.
