British bishops ask lawmakers: resist pressure for same-sex marriage

Bishop Mark Davies of Shrewsbury, speaking on behalf of the English bishops’ conference, has urged Parliament to resist pressure for the approval of same-sex marriage.

Bishop Davies encouraged lawmakers to preserve “the God-given meaning of marriage, for the sake of all generations to come.” He asked members of Parliament to vote according to their consciences rather than bow to pressure from party leaders.

    Here in the US we are stuck with same sex "marriage". There is no understanding of the sacrament,and we want to do what we want,not what is morally right. The US has let Satan in and he has found many willing accomplices.
