Logo approved for World Youth Day in Brazil

Vatican officials have announced the approval of an official logo for the World Youth Day (WYD) celebrations that will be held in Rio de Janeiro in 2013.
The logo, designed by Brazilian artist Gustovo Huguenin, features a heart portrayed in Brazil’s national colors of green and yellow, against which is depicted the outline of the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, which towers over the host city.
