Orthodox prelates join Catholic bishops in protesting Obama mandate

A group of Orthodox bishops in the US have joined their Catholic counterparts in a public protest against the new Obama administration mandate requiring contraceptive coverage in health-care programs.
The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of North America issued a statement calling upon the administration “to rescind this unjust ruling and to respect the religious freedom guaranteed all Americans by the First Amendment.”
