Sudan: kidnapped priests released

Two Catholic priests who were kidnapped in Sudan on January 15 have been set free.

Cardinal Gabriel Zubeir Wako of Khartoum was expecting the arrival of Fathers Joseph Makwey and Sylvester Mogga on January 31, after the two priests were released by their abductors. Church officials said that no ransom had been paid.
