Australian euthanasia advocate faces medical investigation
CWN - January 24, 2012
An Australian doctor who has been a leading proponent of physician-assisted suicide is under investigation after the death of a woman under his case.
The Medical Board of Australia is questioning whether Dr. Philip Nitschke used “good medical practice” by seeking to import a lethal sedative to be used by a 61-year-old woman who suffers from a degenerative disease. The woman insists that she has been acting by herself “to end my suffering.”
